This Maori Greenstone Single Twist (pikorua) Necklace is made from genuine Ngai Tahu Pounamu.

It is made in Westland, and comes to you with an authenticity card and access to a website so you can see the stone it was made from, who made it, and details on the type of greenstone used.

In the case of the twist necklace pictured, it was made from Hapopo pounamu, a greenstone with a range of greens possible, from medium green to a dark forest green, sometimes with mottling.

The Maori twist design carries a spiritual meaning, one of undying love or friendship between two people. A perfect gift for a friend, family member or lover.

The pendant measures approximately 30mm (1 1/4') long. A nice design for those who don't want to wear a really large piece. It hangs from a long black cord with sliding knots, so you can wear it where you want on your chest.
